Description

I accept criticism and all kinds of comments. (Just please, no cussing)

I'm really sorry for not updating last weekend! I got caught up in plans and had so much stuff going on I could remember to do ANYthing. And throughout the week I've been so tired... But I'm back now!

As many can tell, I have a sight obsession with fem!Bilbo. (By the way the pose is entirely based off of one of lissinator's fem!Ori art pieces, she's on tumblr and is AMAZING, please look at her stuff!) I've recently been reading a lot of fics with fem!Bilbo and Thorin having a kid or three, and these always make me happy. Because I can't update fics worth crap, I decided to draw a concept of what I thought would make a good fic.

Basically, the story is this; Bella returns to Hobbiton after the Battle and believes Thorin to be dead. She finds out she's pregnant with his child, and does everything in her power to make sure the pregnancy goes as smooth as possible, even allowing Primula Brandybuck to stay in Bag End with her for the duration. After the babe is born, she names him Frerin, after Thorin's dead brother, as she knows Thorin would have rather their son be named for his brother than himself. He looks just like Thorin, except for his eyes, which are Bella's hazel.

(Also, hobbits have the same life span as dwarrow, three hundred years at average.)

Years pass, and Frerin is the human equivalent of four or five years old. Kíli, Fíli, Bofur, and fem!Ori (because I say so!) pass through the Shire, on their way to the Blue Mountains to renegotiate trade in Thorin's stead. They are surprised and cautious when they hear old busybody hobbit women talking about, 'Mad Baggins' up on Number One, Bagshot Row, and goodness when will that lass take a husband? Could she anymore, with her new reputation? The quartet agree to head up to Bag End, see if anything unusual is going on, and then head for Ered Luin. They try to keep out hope that 'Mad Baggins' is their Bella.

They do confirm that their burglar is alive and well, and manage to convince her that she is not hallucinating from to much Old Toby. They meet Frerin unexpectedly, and the whole story's poured out of Bella, how she thought she was still banished, how she thought Thorin was dead, how much she feared that people would come to take away her son to be raised like the ruler his bloodline suggests. The four dwarrow assure her that they will not tell a soul about Frerin, and they tell her about what occurred post the Battle of the Five Armies. And about Thorin and her lifted banishment. Bella knows there is nothing for her in the Shire, she only stayed there to give Frerin as much of a normal childhood he could get instead of moving to Rivendell

The dwarves soon leave to initiate the trade business with the Blue Mountain colonies, but promise to return to take Bella and Frerin to Erebor. The journey is peaceful, and full of memories.

That's pretty much all I've got planned out so far, I have a headcanon, where Kíli is close to being the perfect copy of Frerin (the first Frerin), and gets really close with the little 'un, even going as far to forge an exact replica of his hair clasp for the lad.

This picture takes place on the Misty Mountains segment of their journey.

I'm all reality, I think I'm done... If you want to use this plot or my picture for anything, please ask first? I will most probably say yes, I'd just like to contact whoever wants to use my art or ideas :)

Anyways, goodnight, thank you, and thanks to anybody who prayed for Amanda Murrey and Roy Murrey, it means a lot. And now as I'm nodding of I'm afraid I'll crash...

(c) I own do not own Bilbo Baggins
I do own Prince Frerin, son of Thorin, son of Thraín

This is nice!  I didn't know you were a LOTR fan.  I've seen all the movies and read "The Hobbit", but I've never really gotten into the fandom.  I like this pic though.  It has a nice, warm touch to it.  Great job!
